SPECIAL OFFER: one-hour EVALUATION FREE OF CHARGE.
Sunset Whitney Learning Center programs begin with an "informal" evaluation and consultation with the parent and the student. This initial interview includes a simple achievement level in decoding, comprehension, spelling, or math, depending on the concerns. An interview and informal questionnaire provide additional information regarding the student's learning. This provides a starting point for the student's program.
After a student is enrolled, several in-depth diagnostics are administered to provide the Learning Center with the information needed to create an individualized program. The diagnostic tests administered vary with each student. These diagnostics may cover such areas as: Visual & Auditory Memory, Visual Processing, Auditory Processing, Attention, and Auditory Discrimination among others.
